a. Steps to adjust the run out:
1 : At first please reach the scale to the tip of the cutter, as the accurate point shown in the picture.
2 : Secondly, loosen the cutter holder by hand in counter clockwise, then add up all the tolerances among
each flute. It would be the run out to this cutter.
b. The effect caused by run out to a cutter may bring to process:
Run out may affect not only tool-change times but the roughness of material being milled. Once the run out is
raising, it may reduce the tool life and have cracks on it while processing. On the other hand, the tool life is
been extended and the surface of material being milled is neat when the run out is getting lower.
c. The Tolerance for the run out measurement caused by cutter’s elongation:
